Saskatchewan Livestock Association Objectives

    To promote and encourage a spirit of cooperation among the livestock organizations in the province and to secure unity of action in matters of common concern.

      To provide management and clerical service in matters of concern to the livestock industry of Saskatchewan and to coordinate activities of mutual interest to the industry.

      To make available a central organization through which opinions of producers of purebred and commercial livestock may be communicated to government and other agencies.

      To encourage and promote improvement in the production of livestock, including emphasis on good breeding, sound genetics and management practices.

      To develop and promote increased marketing of quality livestock and livestock products for Canadian and other world markets.

       To become involved in organizing events and projects for the benefit of livestock producers in areas of production and marketing.
